Our Story

Born organically from a love of storytelling, aesthetics and community-building, THERE Stories is a boutique social media management and content creation agency based in Maui, Hawaii. It’s backed by 15 years of professional marketing experience working for industry leaders and household names in beauty, travel and hospitality.

Our Founders

After graduating with distinction from New York University with a Master of Science in Public Relations and Corporate Communication, Klara Crocco Stafford learned the ropes of marketing, public relations and social media at L’Oreal USA in New York City.

In 2014, Klara traded the stilettos for slippers and booked a one-way ticket to Hawaii, where she held director level marketing and public relations positions at some of Maui’s largest resorts, including Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa, where she was named “Hyatt Americas 2019 Marketing Team Member of the Year.” Klara and her husband, Brandon, later founded THERE Stories in 2022.

Brandon Stafford is the savvy business mind behind THERE Stories. He is a licensed drone pilot and our main cameraman for photoshoots. Professionally, Brandon’s and Klara’s social media content creation has yielded excellent results for their clients. This includes Reels which earned top-performing spots for respective clients compared to their other content. Personally, the husband-and-wife team have also produced two Reels that have gone viral on their personal Instagram account (one earned 1.8M views to date and the second received 2.1M views to date).

Together, this power pair make an unstoppable team.

What’s In A Name?

Years ago, with the help of a blue 1975 VW camper van named “Gypsea,” Klara and Brandon embraced the idea of “being THERE.” In this high-speed world, Gypsea helped them recognize that celebrating the moment and exactly where you are on your journey is just as important as arriving at your destination. THERE Stories grew from this notion. We want to meet companies right where they are and ride shotgun with them on the highway to success, telling their (or should we say “there”) stories along the way.
